  17. Sure it does - if they are run on systems built for measuring the
  18. processor performance, like most manufacturers "hot boxes".

  20. It is not a prefect way of measuring performance, as no "simple"
  21. benchmark is, but it give you a better approximation of the actual
  22. performance than most other benchmarks.

  24. BTW, are there any benchmarks around that doesn't measure the system
  25. performace? All processors need some sort of system around to be
  26. useful, even if it is built into the same chip as the processor, and
  27. thus it will affect the performance.
